Yuka Kubota

The Brentano String Quartet returns to Arizona State University as a visiting quartet in residence for 2019–2020.

Yuka will be leading ASU's Visiting Quartet Residency Program chamber orchestra along with the Brentano String Quartet members in a side-by-side performance of the Mendelssohn Quartet Op. 80. 7:30pm in ASU's Katzin Hall.

Mark Steinberg, first violinist of the Brentano String Quartet, will be giving a masterclass during their February residency in ASU's Gammage Hall, Room 209.

Yuka will be performing the first movement of the Paderewski Violin Sonata with pianist Wenci Fan.

Wenzhou, located in the Zhejiang Province of China, will be having its first Altamira Guitar Festival and Competition in Yongjia.

​

Yuka has been invited to perform a full duo recital as a guest artist in the festival, along with one of the competition's judges, Kevin de Miranda.
